AY-type hot oil pump is a high-temperature oil transfer equipment produced by our company, complying with the GB3215-82 standard and API610 technical requirements. It is suitable for transporting media such as petroleum and liquefied gas without solid particles in fields like petroleum refining, chemical industry, and oilfield gathering and transportation, with a temperature range of -45 to 420°C. Its flow rate ranges from 6.25 to 500 m³/h, and the head can reach 60 to 300 m. The model parameters include suction inlet diameter, pump type, and head.
The pump adopts structures such as single-stage single-suction cantilever and two-stage single-suction cantilever, with a radially split casing design, horizontal centerline support, and flange interface oriented vertically upward. The shaft seal supports interchangeable soft packing and mechanical seals. The bearing system consists of radial ball bearings and thrust ball bearings, utilizing thin oil lubrication and flexible couplings to optimize maintenance processes. The product is compatible with the mounting dimensions of Y-type oil pumps, featuring high standardization of components. It is equipped with three cooling methods—air, fan, and water cooling—to adapt to different operating conditions. The materials selected, such as cast steel/iron, enhance environmental adaptability. The hydraulic flow components feature energy-saving designs, achieving a 2%~5% efficiency improvement over Y-type pumps.
AY-type thermal oil pump was developed through the modification and redesign of the original Y-type oil pump series, aiming to meet the needs of modernization and align with the equipment renewal centered on energy efficiency. Its design maintains continuity with the old Y-type oil pump in terms of structural configuration, installation dimensions, and performance parameters, facilitating the upgrading and retrofitting of existing installations.
This pump type complies with the API 610 standard, with a specific structure (such as single-stage, double-suction, and double-end supported) classified as the BB configuration in API 610. The pump casing adopts a radial split design, where the casing interface is perpendicular to the pump shaft, making it particularly suitable for conveying high-temperature, high-pressure, flammable, explosive, or toxic liquids. Unlike conventional single-stage, double-suction clean water pumps with horizontal inlet and outlet ports, AY-type thermal oil pump features both suction and discharge flanges oriented vertically upward to accommodate the limited spatial layout of chemical plants。
The hydraulic flow components of this series of pumps adopt the hydrodynamic model of high-efficiency and energy-saving pumps, with an average efficiency 5-8% higher than the old Y-type oil pumps. The bearing housing components have been upgraded, replacing the original 35, 50, and 60 bearing housings with 45, 55, and 70 bearing housings respectively, further enhancing operational reliability. The outer surface of the bearing housing is cast with cooling fins, allowing for three cooling methods based on the temperature of the transported medium: air cooling (T℃), fan cooling (T=120℃-260℃), or water cooling (T=260℃-420℃). Among these, fan cooling is particularly suitable for areas with water shortages or poor water quality.
To facilitate the easy removal of components such as impellers, bearings, and shaft seals without disassembling the suction or discharge pipelines during maintenance, the AY-type thermal oil pump incorporates flexible diaphragm or elastic pin-type extended coupling assemblies. The shaft seal chamber (stuffing box) can be cast integrally with the pump cover, allowing for the installation of various mechanical seals including packing seals, balanced types, bellows types, and tandem types. Additionally, the exterior of the shaft seal chamber features a water-cooled jacket that is available as an optional accessory
The AY-type thermal oil pump is available in six structural configurations: single-stage single-suction cantilever, two-stage single-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction dual-bearing, two-stage double-suction dual-bearing, and two-stage single-suction dual-bearing.
